Wigan Warriors Women’s U19s Academy will get back into league action in April, as they face St Helens, Leeds and Warrington throughout the year.

The Wigan Warriors Women’s Academy, which is boosted by the support of Greenmount Projects Ltd, went undefeated in 2022 and will look to continue their fantastic form into 2023.

They start the season away to St Helens on Wednesday 26th April, before facing Warrington Wolves at home three weeks’ later on Wednesday 17th May.

Game Three sees the Warriors host St Helens in the return leg on Wednesday 7th June before a second outing against Warrington Wolves away from home a week later on Wednesday 14th June.

The Warriors Women’s Academy will then travel to Leeds Rhinos at the end of the season on Sunday 30th July.

Speaking on the fixtures, Women’s Academy Head Coach John Whalley said: “After a fantastic year in 2022 setting some good foundations, we are excited for the year ahead with the support of Greenmount Projects. The Women’s Academy is a great platform and sets a pathway to our Women’s first team and competing in the Betfred Women’s Super League as we have seen with nine of our Academy players progressing into the first team for the 2023 season.”
