  • Zach Eckersley on scoresheet for London Broncos.
  • Junior Nsemba registers and assist for Whitehaven.

Six Warriors were in loan action over the weekend for both Whitehaven and London Broncos.

Featherstone Rovers 76-4 Whitehaven.

Three Warriors took to the field for loan Club Whitehaven on Sunday afternoon as Jacob Douglas and Junior Nsemba were named in the starting 13, with latest loanee Tom Forber featuring off the interchange bench.

It was a tough afternoon for Whitehaven, who were handed a heavy defeat on the road at Featherstone but Junior Nsemba did register an assist, as he got the ball away to Josh Rourke to score the visitors only try of the day in the first half of the game.

London Broncos 18-26 Halifax Panthers.

Another three Warriors were also in action for the Broncos on Sunday afternoon. Zach Eckersley and Harvie Hill were in the starting line-up with Ramon Silva available at interchange.

In a much tighter affair, the Panthers found themselves 10-0 up with half time approaching before Warriors loanee Zach Eckersley crossed for a try to cut the deficit to 10-6 at the break. Both sides crossed in the second half but Halifax always had the score advantage to take the 18-26 win on London’s turf.
