Tom Forber joins Whitehaven on loan

• Warriors hooker heads to Whitehaven on one-month loan deal.
• Forber will join two Warriors loanees already at the Cumbrian side.
• Forber will be eligible to play in Whitehaven’s Betfred Championship fixture against Featherstone this Sunday.

Wigan Warriors confirm that Tom Forber has joined Whitehaven on a one-month loan. 

The 19-year old was one of seven players to make their Wigan Warriors debut in the game against Hull KR in August 2022, after consistent performances on loan at Newcastle Thunder last year.

Forber has featured in all three of Wigan’s pre-season friendly fixtures, as well as featuring in the Academy and Reserves friendly against Oldham Roughyeds last weekend.

Transition Coach John Duffy said: “This is a great opportunity for Tom to continue his great form that he has shown throughout pre-season. The loan gives him a chance to continue his development.”
