Academy to face Oldham

Wigan Warriors Academy will face Oldham Roughyeds this coming Sunday 12th February in a final pre-season friendly.

The Warriors, who come off the back of a resounding 84-0 pre-season victory over Salford Red Devils Academy on Sunday, will face the Betfred League One side at Ince Rose bridge on Sunday 12th February (1pm K.O.)

The fixture will see Reserves and Academy take to the field in a final pre-season outing before their respective league competitions get underway.

Head Coach, John Duffy said: “It’s another opportunity for us to play against experienced opposition and a well coached side. It’s also a last opportunity for everyone to get some game time and a last run out before both teams go into their respective seasons.”

Entry at Ince Rose Bridge will be free but donations to the Club are welcome. Full match and highlights will be available on Wigan TV within 48-hours.
