Wigan Warriors Community Foundation are delighted to announce our half term camps will return once more, starting Monday 20th February!
We have an exciting week planned and look forward to seeing regular and some new faces throughout half term!
Monday and Tuesday will see the return of our Rugby League Foundation camps, where boys and girls have the opportunity to train and play at the world class facilities at Robin Park Arena. This is an opportunity for children to experience what it is like to train like a professional Rugby Player.
Across the two days, children will take part in skill sessions and activities and have lots of playing time to showcase their skills, delivered by high quality coaches from the Community Foundation.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we have both Rugby League and Multi-sport camps being delivered as well as Dance and Cheer camps at Newbridge Community Centre.
Dance and Cheer will be an opportunity for both boys and girls to learn different performances and routines. The camp will link dance with other performing activities such as Cheerleading and Gymnastics to work on a wide range of skills across the 3 days and incorporate this in a special performance for their parents/guardians on the final day.
The Rugby League and multi-sport camp will take place at the same time, with participants taking part in high quality sport sessions delivered by Community Foundation Coaches.
