Hull KR were straight off the board as they went on the attack from the Warriors kick off, working their way towards the Wigan goal line Jack Krebs opened the scoring, rising above the Wigan defenders to touch down a weighted kick from Jack Potter, the conversion was missed but the hosts led 4-0.
Just a few minutes later and the Robins were in again, following a goal line drop out Harvey Reynolds broke through the line on the right hand edge to go over, Potter added the two-pointer to make it 10-0.
Wigan got themselves back in it in the 18th minute, making the most of back-to-back sets to force their way over the goal line through Harvie Hill. Just moments later and we drew level through Jacob Douglas who added the acrobatics on the right edge, the conversion miss made it 10-10.
The Warriors got their noses in front for the first time on the half hour mark, as once again they found joy on the right edge, this time through Zach Eckersley. Eckersley couldn’t add the extras to his own score, as we went in with the 10-14 lead at the interval.
