Bateman banned

John Bateman has been banned for three matches for a Grade D High Tackle committed during Wigan’s Betfred Super League Play-Off Semi Final against Leeds Rhinos last Friday.

Bateman pleaded guilty to the offence and the independent tribunal found the Match Review Panel’s grading, D, to be correct. He is also fined £500.
