Player of the Month: August

August saw the Warriors win three out of five games in Betfred Super League, starting the month with a 32-6 win over Warrington Wolves at the DW Stadium on Heritage Day.

A disappointing loss to Wakefield away followed but Matt Peet’s men bounced with a big 52-6 win over Toulouse Olympique before taking a brilliant 30-10 win over St Helens at the DW Stadium, confirming a second-placed finish in Betfred Super League.

Wigan made seven debuts as they travelled to Hull KR, with the Warriors benefitting from rotation and a spirited performance saw a young side fall narrowly short against the Robins to end the month.
