Wigan Warriors Summer Camps

• Camps include Player Camps, SEND and disability, multi-sport and away camps.

Wigan Warriors are delighted to announce our schedule for summer camps from July to September 2022.

With a combination of Rugby League specific, multi-sports and SEND and Disability camps being delivered each week during the summer period – with prices starting at £10 per day, there is something on offer for everyone!

Player Camps 

A fantastic opportunity for children to take part in Rugby League specific activities and train at the home of Wigan Warriors. We have amazing giveaways and prizes to be won each day during camp for star performers as well as the opportunity to play alongside members of the Wigan Warriors first team squad who will join in the activities during each afternoon. 

Player camp dates are priced at £39 for 2 days and are on the following dates. 

• Monday 25^th and Tuesday 26^th July
• Monday 8^th and Tuesday 9^th August 
• Monday 22^nd and Tuesday 23^rd August 

SEND and Disability 

These sessions are delivered by highly skilled coaches who specialise in working with children and young people with additional needs or disabilities. We ensure that all needs are catered for with our activities with adaptable activities based on the requirements of the children and young people who attend. 

This is a FREE activity funded by Wigan Council for children and young people between the ages of 6 and 16 with additional needs or disabilities. 

Multi-sport 

We have numerous multi-sport activities on offer across the borough during the summer holidays, with clubs taking place at St Aiden’s Primary School, Britannia Bridge Primary School, Platt Bridge Primary School and Chowbent Primary School. These activities will include Athletics, Cricket, Rounders, Rugby League and Tennis. 

Away camps

We have several camps taking place outside of the Wigan borough with three camps taking place in Cumbria and Preston. On the back of building successful partnerships with local community clubs in the Cumbria area, we have secured three venues for Rugby League specific activities at Dalton, Maryport and Egremont with another camp taking place in Preston as part of our Rugby Development plan in Lancashire.
