Armed Forces Day

Join us for Armed Forces Day at the DW Stadium on Friday 24th June as Wigan Warriors take on Toulouse Olympique in Round 16 of the Betfred Super League.

The Betfred Challenge Cup winners will return home for the first time in six weeks as Toulouse come to Wigan for the very first time.

With Armed Forces Day taking place a day after the game, the Club is remembering and paying tribute to all the heroes who have served and continue to serve our country.

To gets things underway, there will be a warm-up game before the first team game – taking place at Robin Park Arena. The Army will take on the Police in a friendly match where all fans can attend for free between 6pm and 7:30pm.

Members of the Fire Service, Royal British Legion, Army, and Navy Cadets and Reeva programme will all be present too. The Reeva programme run by local organisation, Red Oak Kennel Services, which helps to improve the quality of life by providing training assistance dogs for Veterans with mental health difficulties.
