Cherry and White Week

Next week ahead of the Challenge Cup Final we are encouraging the whole of Wigan town to get behind ‘Cherry and White Week’.

We are asking all fans to get behind the players by dressing their house, bedroom, car, office or classroom in Cherry and White. It’s a huge week for not only the Wigan Warriors Club but the town and its people.

To help you get in the mood for the Final we will be offering money can’t buy prizes to the best dressed supporters and your Cherry and White efforts.

Schools and community clubs can win a match day experience including free tickets to the next home game against Toulouse Olympique and be part of the matchday build up.

Supporters and businesses can win breakfast with the players by sharing pictures on Twitter – using the hashtag #CherryAndWhiteWeek and tagging @WiganWarriorsRL.

We are also running open training sessions each evening next week (Monday-Friday) at Robin Park Arena (details on how to book are below).

All schools will have received a letter with further details on how you can participate including a Cherry and White non-uniform day on Friday 27th May.

“The connection between the team and our supporters is a massive motivation for us,” Head Coach Matt Peet said. “Anything that people can do to show their support is greatly appreciated by everyone at the Club. Hopefully everyone in the town will come together and have a great time this week.”
