Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Wigan Warriors Women’s Betfred Super League opener against St Helens. The Warriors Women face Saints at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Sunday 15th May (2pm K.O.).

This is the opening weekend of the Betfred Women’s Super League though both Wigan and St Helens have competed in the Challenge Cup and Women’s Nines competitions so far this year. St Helens were recently crowned Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup winners at Elland Road.

The Warriors remain without Rachel Thompson, Alison Burrows, Cailey Miller, Ruth Thomas, Hannah Walton and Vicky Molyneux for the fixture this week through injury.

“We’ll think about our own performance and focus on ourselves this week. Of course it’ll be a tough game and a real challenge, but we’ve got to get used to that, do what we do best and focus on the things we’ve been learning in training and keep moving forward.”

Tickets for the fixture can be purchased in advance via the St Helens website. Tickets are priced at £5 Adults, £3 Juniors. Tickets can be purchased HERE but please note, that all pre-ordered tickets must be collected by 4pm on Saturday 14th May (the day before the fixture) as the Ticket Office at the Stadium will not be open on game day.

You can also walk-up and pay on the turnstile either via cash or contactless payment on game day itself. Car parking is available on the main stadium car parks on a first come, first served basis.
