North West boys’ school’s Finals
- Robin Park Arena played host to the boys’ North West School’s Finals on Friday 6th May.
- Standish High, St Peter’s & Paul’s and Wade Deacon were all victorious on the afternoon.
- Congratulations to all the team involved in the Finals.
Wigan Warriors’ Robin Park Arena hosted the boys’ North West school’s Finals on Friday 6th May.
Y8 boys 1.30pm Standish v Rainford
The first game of the afternoon saw Standish take a 54-4 win in a dominant victory over Rainford High. Man of the match on the afternoon was Matt Halton, congratulations to Standish on a well-earned win.
Y9 boys 2.30pm St. Peter’s & Paul v St. Peter’s
Game two saw a closer affair as St Peter’s & Paul took a 20 – 4 win over St Peter’s, Orrell. An arm wrestle of a match saw a lower scoring game, but it was St Peter’s & Paul that won the battle to take home the trophy. Man of the match in game two was Jack Mather.
Y11 boys 3.30pm St Cuthbert’s v Wade Deacon
Widnes’ Wade Deacon were the final winners on the day as they took a 32-18 victory in the Year 11 boys final. A thrilling game saw the action go end-to-end, but it was Wade Deacon had the upper edge. The final Man of the match on the day was Harry Robertson.
