Fan Village feedback

With the success of our Fan Village so far this season, we are giving all Wigan Warriors fans the opportunity to shape the future of the game day event.

So far this year, we have had five Fan Village events including our Family Day Eggstravaganza earlier this month. With a high number of fans attending for each home game, it has been fantastic so far, but we now need your thoughts to find out how we make it better ahead of our next home game in two months’ time.

The rebirth of the Fan Village will take place on Friday 24th June when Toulouse Olympique visit the DW Stadium for the first time. It will also be Armed Forces Day, as we will remember and pay tribute to all those who served and continue to serve our country.

The Fan Village is the perfect place to soak up the pre-match atmosphere on game day. Located at Robin Park Arena, this year’s events have seen lots of food and drink available, live music from local talent and live Q&As before and after the game with first team players. The one and only Mighty Max, our Warrior Cheerleaders and the Wigan Rugby Heritage Society have all been in attendance too. There has also been a number of rugby festivals for the LDRL team, as well as community club ambassadors open training sessions on the Robin Park Arena pitch.

Our Club Store at Robin Park Arena has been open prior to and after each home game, with the opportunity for fans to shop whilst at the Fan Village – producing record numbers of sales on game days.

Now, we are looking to make the Fan Village even better ahead of its return. At the next home game, there will be a chance for Warriors fans to start collecting player cards of the full Wigan Warriors first team squad. Keep an eye out around the Fan Village as Warriors staff and stewards will be on hand to give out the cards for fans to start collecting.

There are also plans for more drinks to be available, as well as more seating areas and outdoor activities too.

We are delighted to announce too that before the next home game will be another Fan Day at Robin Park Arena, giving fans the chance to meet and greet the first team players and have a kick around on the pitch too. Full details for this event including the date and time will be confirmed soon.
