Seven Warriors go out on loan

Seven Wigan Warriors have signed initial two week loan deals with five different clubs.

Ramon Silva, Logan Astley, Tom Forber, Adam Jones, Toby Brannan, Jack Bibby and Ben O’Keefe are all heading out to experience more game time, with the next Warriors Reserves game taking place at the end of April.

First teamer Silva has signed for Betfred Championship side Widnes Vikings, who face Leigh Centurions and Batley Bulldogs in the next two weeks.

Train-on players Forber and Astley are heading to Oldham in Betfred League 1. The Roughyeds take on West Wales Raiders this Sunday, before an away trip to Rochdale and then a home game against Cornwall.

Hooker Forber and half back Astley could come up against fellow Warriors teammates Adam Jones and Toby Brannan, who have both signed for Cornwall, as well as Ben O’Keefe who has joined Rochdale.

As announced earlier this week, Jack Bibby has signed for Whitehaven.
