Overview:

Wigan Warriors Education are looking to appoint a freelance Tutor / Assessor who is qualified and experienced in delivering Level 2 Gym Instructor courses and other health related programmes.  Based at the Robin Park Arena, Wigan, the ideal candidate will be a professional and driven individual with a passion for education, looking to work with adult learners to help develop the next generation of exercise and fitness professionals.

Your credentials:

• Qualified Teacher (Cert Ed / DTTLS or Level 3 in Education)
• Qualified Assessor
• Qualified in Personal Training / Gym Instruction

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in the delivery and assessment of adult learning courses or equivalent teaching experience.
• Background working within the Health and Fitness sector.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with students and peers.

You will be responsible for….

• Delivery and assessment of Level 2 Gym Instructor courses for Adult Learners.
• Online Marking & Assessment of student course work.
• Regular tracking and monitoring of student progression throughout their programme.
• Attending staff training and CPD sessions.
• Other duties as stated by the Warriors Head of Education.
• Adhering to and promoting Warriors Education policies and procedures.
