April half term camps

Wigan Warriors Community Foundation April half term camps will return from Monday 4th April. The camps will consist of Player camps, SEND & Disability Camps, Development days, Preston rugby league camps and a Community Camps across Wigan. 

Player Camp

Dates: Monday 4th & Tuesday 5th April

On Monday 4th April and Tuesday 5th April we have our Player camps here at Robin Park for children aged 6-11, this is an opportunity to play and train at Robin Park Arena alongside the Wigan Warriors first team squad between 9am-3pm. The cost of this is £39 for the 2 days.

Rugby Camp

• Wigan St Patrick’s Dates: Wednesday 6th, Thursday 7th, Wednesday 13th & Thursday 14th April.
• Orrell St James’ Dates: Wednesday 6th, Thursday 7th, Wednesday 13th & Thursday 14th April.
• Golborne Parkside Dates: Wednesday 6th & Thursday 7th April.

On Wednesday and Thursday of week one and week two we will be hosting Community Rugby Camps at Wigan St Patrick’s, Orrell St James’ and Golborne Parkside, these are open for anyone to book on and sessions will take place between 10am-2pm. The camps will be Rugby League specific and has a cost of £10 per day.  

Preston Camps

Dates: Monday 11th & Tuesday 12th April.

We will also be running rugby league camps at UCLan Sports Arena in Preston on Monday and Tuesday of week two. These camps offer young children the opportunity to express themselves through fun rugby activities and to develop personal, mental and physical skills.

Coaches from both Wigan Warriors Community Foundation and Preston North End Community and Education Trust provide delivery for children aged between 6-12 years old.

SEND & Disability

Dates: Monday 4th, Tuesday 5th, Monday 11th & Tuesday 12th April.

Our SEND & Disability Camps are running on Monday and Tuesday 9:30am – 2:30pm on week one and week two for children and young people aged 6-16. This is a fully-funded camp by Wigan Council where we provide a range of sporting activities from Gymnastics, Multi-sport Rugby League and Football and includes a free hot meal for every participant.

Development Days

Dates: Thursday 7th & Friday 8th April.

Wigan Warriors Development Days are a FREE opportunity for all community club players to experience professional training and advice from the Wigan Warriors Development team. 

The sessions will look at enhancing the players core skills and decision making , a contact session developing players tackle technique and athletic development tests.
