Disciplinary update: Kaide Ellis

Wigan Warriors’ Kaide Ellis has been banned for five matches for throwing punches during the Betfred Super League clash with Catalans Dragons in Perpignan last Saturday.

Ellis has been charged with a Grade E offence, described as ‘Punching – sustained and repeated or violent  – makes contact with the head of an opponent’.

He was found guilty as charged and was also fined £500.

Brad Singleton has also accepted the Grade B two match penalty notice imposed at Monday’s Match Review Panel for a late hit on a passer.
