Wigan Warriors have three teams in action this week with our first team, Reserves and Women’s teams all in action. See all the details below. 

First team

The Warriors return home to the DW Stadium for Round 6 of Betfred Super League as they take on Castleford Tigers on Thursday evening.

Following a disappointing result against Catalans Dragons last time out, Matt Peet’s side are eager to make amends and return to winning ways in front of our loyal fans. Tickets for the game will be available until kick off on Thursday evening and can be bought online HERE, by calling 01942 311111 or in person at the DW Stadium ticket office (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm).

Reserves

Our Reserves side have started the season well with big wins over Hull FC and Newcastle Thunder so far. They take to the field once again this Friday night as they travel to Stanningley to face Leeds Rhinos (7pm K.O.) There will be half time and full time updates available on our social media pages.

Women

Following their opening round win over Bradford Bulls in the Challenge Cup group stages on Sunday night, Wigan Warriors Women are back in action this Sunday as they make the trip to face York City Knights in game two of their three Challenge Cup group games (12pm K.O.) The game is part of a double header with York City Knights first team, as the Women play as a curtain raiser at the LNER Stadium in York.

Tickets are available to buy directly from York, please note the ticket price includes both the Women’s game at 12pm and York City Knights mens fixture at 3pm. Tickets prices are Adults £20, Concessions £15 and U16s FREE and can be bought HERE. The Women’s game will also be streamed live and FREE on OurLeague on Sunday lunchtime.
