Wigan Warriors have four teams in action this weekend as the Women’s side get their 2022 Challenge Cup campaign underway.

The first team, Academy and Wheelchair teams are in action too. See all the details below.

First team

It’s a trip to Perpignan on Saturday as the Warriors face Catalans Dragons in Round 5. The game takes place at the Stade Gilbert Brutus as Matt Peet aims to get a fifth successive win in the Betfred Super League. Tickets for the game are still on sale for those who are looking to make the trip to France this weekend and can be bought in person at the DW Stadium Ticket Office or online HERE. (Please note tickets bought online after 3pm on Thursday 10th March will need to be collected at the DW Stadium Ticket Office.)

Wheelchair

Following a win in their historic opening game against London Rooster last weekend, the Wheelchair side are in action again this weekend facing Warrington Wolves at LJMU on Saturday afternoon (2:15pm K.O.)

Wheelchair Head Coach, Phil Roberts, was encouraged by his side’s opening game and will be looking to make it two from two as they face the Wolves this weekend. Spectators are welcome to watch the Warriors Wheelchair side in action and is FREE entry. There will be half time and full time updates available on our social media pages.

Academy

Our Academy side kick off their season as they host Castleford Tigers at Robin Park Arena on Saturday afternoon (2:30pm K.O.) Warriors Season Ticket Holders can watch the game for FREE by showing their season ticket on the door to gain entry. For non-Season Ticket holders entry is £5 Adults and £3 concessions. There will be half time and full time updates available on our social media pages.

Women

Finally, Wigan Warriors Women are in action on Sunday as they make the trip to face Bradford Bulls in the first of their three Challenge Cup group games (5:15pm K.O.) Please note that this fixture was originally scheduled for 2pm at Odsal Stadium but will now be played at Horsfall Stadium, Cemetery Road, Bradford BD6 2NG.

Entry for the Women’s game is FREE in celebration of International Women’s Day earlier this week, but donation buckets will be around the ground for anyone wishing to make a donation to the Bradford Bulls Foundation. There will be half time and full time updates available on our social media pages.
