Wigan Warriors Community Foundation are pleased to announce their 2021 October half term camps, which include SEND and disability camps, Rugby League camps and a brand new dance and cheer camp – all for children aged 5-12.

Player camp

Children in Wigan and the surrounding areas will have the chance to train and play at Robin Park Arena, the home of Wigan Warriors, as part of our player camp. This camp gives children a taste of what it is like to be a Wigan Warriors player and children can expect tours and full use of the Wigan Warriors facilities, giveaways and prizes and the chance to win a Warriors signed shirt. This is priced at £39 and will take place on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th October.

Rugby League camp

We also have a Rugby League camp running at St Michaels High School in Chorley on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th October. Prices for this camp are £10 per day.

SEND and disability camp

Our SEND and disability camp has been extremely popular during the summer with a total of 84 children and young people booking on to this session during the summer period.

NEW dance and cheer camp

We will also be running our brand new dance and cheer camp alongside members of the Warrior Girls. It’s an opportunity for children and young people to get involved with dance and cheer activities during the half term.

On the upcoming October half term camps, Mike Stoneley, Community Outreach Officer, said: “It was great to see so much engagement during our summer holiday activities, we are excited to bring more activities during October half term.”
