Girls Rugby Development Day

Wigan Warriors are pleased to announce the return of the Girls Rugby Development Days with one date confirmed for October half term.
Girls aged between 11-16 years can attend the free Girls Rugby Development Day on Thursday 28th October. The session will run from 1-2:30pm and all levels of experience are welcome, whether you have played rugby before or not.
The session is a great pathway for girls to lead in to and is a chance to gain experienced coaching from girls development officers, Women’s team coaching staff and Women’s team players.
Women’s player and community coach, Rachel Thompson, said: “It will be great to have the development session we can get back up and running with all the girls ages together again. Covid has put a stop to a lot of the girls training and playing and for us as Wigan Warriors coaches and staff being able to see what the girls have to offer. it’s great to be able to get these sessions back up and running.”
