What’s happening at the DW

Coming to the DW Stadium tonight for Wigan v Catalans? Here’s everything you can expect prior to kick-off…

Arrival

The DW Stadium gates open at 6:15pm. Make sure to collect your “thank you” wristband – available to all Wigan fans attending the game tonight as a thank you from the Club for your fantastic support throughout the 2021 season. You can get your wristband from game day stewards outside or inside the stadium. Please note it is one per person. On entry to the stadium, please note that there will be bag checks. Fans are discouraged to bring bags or rucksacks to the game.

LDRL festival

Wigan Warriors are hosting a Learning Disability Rugby League (LDRL) festival on the DW Stadium pitch ahead of the game. The Warriors, St Helens and Warrington Wolves Foundations will have two teams playing and fans planning to attend the DW tonight can watch the festival, with gates opening at 6:15pm. Loch Lomond Whiskies

From 6pm, official spirits partner Loch Lomond Group will be sampling its Loch Lomond Whiskies 12-year-old single malt and Ben Lomond Gin by the foot bridge in the South East corner of the stadium. A limited number of branded beanie hats will also be given away around the DW. Please note that samples will only be available to those aged 18+ and a Challenge 25 policy will be in place.

Programme

There will be programme sellers for the latest issue of the Warrior programme. This week’s edition includes an in-depth feature with Jackson Hastings, all the latest news around the Club, a preview of the opposition, a rewind of classic matches and a look at what the Community Foundation has been up to recently. Pick yours up for just £3.50! Please note it is cash only for programmes.

Lotto

Golden Gamble ticket sellers will be selling tickets around the stadium and also inside the concourses and in hospitality. There will be sellers on the South Stand, East Stand, West Stand and on the bridge in the South East corner. Tickets are only £1 each and if your number is drawn out at half time you could win some big money or some fantastic prizes! Please note it is cash only for Golden Gamble tickets. Tickets

Still deciding if you are coming tonight? Don’t worry if you have not got a ticket, as you can still buy tickets for the game by heading to the Ticket Office – located in the North West corner of the stadium. Tickets are available to buy at the Ticket Office all the way up to kick-off. Please note the DW Stadium is now a cashless stadium and card payments only will be received. Inside the DW

Inside the stadium, the South Stand Bar is open from 6:30pm. Fans can go into the bar prior to or after the game. Please note that the bar is not open at half time. 

Prior to the game, fans can enjoy a selection of classic matches against Catalans on the big screen.
