Seven tries saw Wigan Warriors Under-19s defeat Warrington Wolves at Robin Park Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Two tries in the opening six minutes from Reagan Sumner and Logan Astley, plus a goal conversion from Alex Sutton, saw Wigan ahead 10-0.

In the 12th minute Umyla Hanley crossed over, which was converted by Sutton for 16-0.

Two more tries came before half time as Astley got his second and Adam Jones went over, with one of the two being converted by Sutton to take Wigan with a 26-0 lead into the break.

Jacob Douglas scored Wigan’s sixth try, which was converted by Sutton.

Joe Robinson was the final player on the scoresheet for the Warriors as he went over just after the hour mark.

Despite three second half tries from Warrington, including two in the final 10 minutes, Wigan took a comfortable 36-10 victory to claim their seventh win this year.
