Wigan squad for Castleford

There are two additions to Wigan’s squad this weekend as Sam Halsall and Brad O’Neill both come in for Monday’s trip to Castleford.

Head coach Adrian Lam has named a 21-man squad to travel to the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Bank Holiday Monday (5pm K.O.).

Team news

After a meeting with the specialist on Monday, Sam Powell missed Wednesday’s game against Leeds and is also not named in the squad to play Castleford. The hooker suffered concussion in the opening two minute against Hull KR in Round 22.

Willie Isa will serve his second of a four-match suspension for two separate penalty notices given by the RFL, following last week’s game against St Helens.

Injury news

As confirmed last week, skipper Thomas Leuluai is out for the rest of the 2021 season after suffering a hamstring tear.

Bevan French continues to recovery back home in Australia from a long-term hamstring injury.

Tickets for Monday’s game against Castleford at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle (5pm K.O.) are now off sale. Pay on the day will be available, but please note that there will be a £2 price rise for all tickets. Tickets on the day can be purchased by card/contactless (preferred) and cash, both by the Ticket Office on Wheldon Road.
