U19s gain bragging rights

Following the first team’s defeat against St Helens the night before, the Academy side gained a measure of revenge with 24-10 victory at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
In a tough and entertaining contest, the Warriors hit back from conceding the first try to lead 12-4 at the break thanks to tries from Junior Nsemba and Joe Robinson.
Alex Sutton kicked two goals in a half that saw Umyla Hanley sent to the sin-bin.
The Saints again scored the first try in the second half, but Wigan found another gear with a brace of tries from Logan Astley, with Sutton converting both of them.
