Injury update
Get the latest on the Wigan Warriors squad ahead of this Friday’s Betfred Super League Round 18 clash with Salford Red Devils.
Adrian Lam’s men welcome Richard Marshall’s side this Friday in the second meeting between the two sides in 2021. Last time out the Cherry and Whites came out on top thanks to a last-gasp Jackson Hastings drop-goal at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Injury news
On Wednesday it was announced that Dom Manfredi would retire immediately on medical grounds.
In June, the Club announced that the winger was set to retire at the end of the 2021 season due to his knee injuries, but after another consultation, Manfredi has now called time on his playing career. Read more by clicking HERE.
Jai Field is included in the 21-man squad for the first time since Round 1 after suffering a hamstring injury against Leigh back in March.
Zak Hardaker (neck), Morgan Smithies (ankle) and Ethan Havard (hip) also return from their respective injuries. Liam Marshall is the fifth change, returning after missing out last week against Leigh with a failed HIA (Head Injury Assessment) from the midweek Warrington clash.
Speaking about the changes, the Warriors head coach said:’ “We welcome back Zak Hardaker, for who game time will be limited as he returns from his budging disk in his neck.
“Also Jai Field, who’s game time will be limited and the same for Morgan Smithies. Tony Clubb, Liam Marshall, and Ethan Havard also come back into the picture.”
Tommy Leuluai misses out with a hamstring injury sustained against Leigh Centurions last week. On the condition of the club captain, Lam said: “It looks like he’s done his hamstring to a pretty serious degree. We will know a little bit more about that when the scan results come back, but it doesn’t look good.”
Bevan French continues recovery from a hamstring injury, expected to keep the full back out for the remainder of the 2021 season.
