- Marshall: “It’s exciting and gives us a chance to show what we can do.”
- Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves, Wed 30th June, DW Stadium, 7:45pm K.O.
Liam Marshall believes this week’s opposition gives Wigan a chance to show the rest of Super League what they are capable of.
The Warriors come up against Warrington Wolves on Wednesday at the DW Stadium, followed by a trip away to face St Helens on Sunday.
Speaking to Wigan TV ahead of the game, Marshall discussed the proposition of facing both sides in the space of five days.
“It’ll be a tough week but a character building one. It might seem strange coming off the back of three defeats but these are two teams you’d want to play.

“They are two very big games, which makes them easy to get up for.
“They are also two big challenges, to show us where we’re at. It’s exciting and gives us a chance to show what we can do.”
Fellow winger Dom Manfredi recently announced that he would hang up his boots at the end of the 2021 season (learn more HERE).
Speaking about the decision, Marshall said: “Obviously it’s a sad time for Dom and us as a club.
“It’s good for him to get it out there having come to a final decision, it means he can relax now and just worry about getting back on the field and finishing the seasons strong.
“We wish him well and we’re all behind him for the rest of the year and the future.”
