Wigan Warriors Under-19s fell to a 18-16 defeat at home to Wakefield Trinity on Saturday afternoon.
Despite three tries, Wigan came up short as a late Wakefield try saw the visitors win at Robin Park Arena.
First half tries from Joe Robinson and Alex Sutton saw the Warriors go into the break with a 10-6 lead.
And another Sutton try in the second 40 saw the Warriors go back ahead at 16-12 after Wakefield opened the half with a touchdown.
But a try from close range for Trinity and a successful conversion saw the away side snatch victory.

Next up for Wigan’s Under-19s is a trip to the capital to face London Broncos next Sunday at 12:30pm.
