Fans return to the DW

Take a look back at a momentous evening for Wigan Warriors fans as the DW Stadium opened its doors to spectators for the first time in 15 months.

The Cherry and White army last filled the DW Stadium back in March 2020, when Adrian Lam’s men faced Hull KR (of all teams).

Little did everyone know that afternoon how long they’ve have to wait to get the chance to watch their side at home again.

15 months later and a limited audience filed in to watch their Warriors take on Tony Smith’s side on Friday night.
