Hastings named All Stars co-captain
Jackson Hastings has been named a Combined Nations All Stars co-captain ahead of the mid-season international against England on Friday 25th June.
Hastings said: “It’s a great honour to be able to represent my heritage, to play in front of Shaun Wane and to support Mose. The All Stars is a great concept, there are so many great players from overseas playing in the Super League and I’m honoured to be named co-captain.”
In addition to Hastings being named a co-captain, the Combined Nations All Stars today reveal their playing kit the game.
Kit partner OXEN has worked with former Samoan international Mose Masoe to design a unique and attractive jersey which incorporates all Masoe’s previous clubs, and even replicates his own tattoos across the shoulder and sleeve.
Masoe suffered a career-ending spinal injury while playing for Hull Kingston Rovers last year. £10 from every shirt sold will go direct to the Mose Masoe Foundation, the charity set up following his injury to support to his family. The foundation will also support other Rugby League players who suffer spinal injuries.
