Rubbing shoulders with the established professionals and rising stars of Wigan Warriors on the same site, we offer a pathway for you to play and train to enhance your Rugby League credentials. As player, you will experience the thrill of pulling on the Wigan Warriors jersey.
Wigan Warriors Development Academy players enjoy a blended timetable that allows them to train every day, alongside their studies towards a great range of academic or vocational courses that will help you on your career pathway, giving you the knowledge to work towards careers in:
- Physiotherapy
- Personal training
- Sports coaching
- PE teaching
- Sports psychology
- …and many more!
If the combined playing and education route appeals to you, make sure you come and see what we’re all about by taking part in our open training day at Robin Park Arena on Saturday 12th June, 10am-11:30am, led by Warriors Academy coaches. It will be followed by an optional tour of our education facilities to see where you can combine your future learning and training.
This opportunity is open equally to both male and female players/students.
