Brad Singleton is expecting a ‘big battle’ when Wigan take on Leigh Centurions on Monday evening (K.0. 7:45pm).

Adrian Lam’s side will face John Duffy’s men for the second time in 2021 when the two meet at Leigh Sports Village in Round 6 of the Betfred Super League.

Speaking to Wigan TV ahead of the fixture, the prop forward explained how Wigan must move on from last week’s defeat to Hull FC to improve as the season goes on.

“It was tough game and we let ourselves down with some non-negotiables with errors and overall bite.

“I think it’s ok to be hurt by it and make sure we build and learn from it.”

Leigh will be buoyed by the fact that a limited number of home supporters will be allowed into the ground due to the lifting of some government restrictions.

On facing Leigh: “It’ll be a spectacle. They’ve had a tough season so far but that wasn’t the team we got in Round 1.

“They’ve got plenty of potential, they’ve recruited well and with the extra motivation of the fans, it’ll be a big battle.”
