Wigan Warriors Women will play York City Knights Ladies in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Quarter Finals on Sunday 9th May.
The draw for the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup took place on Wednesday evening live on Our League and The Sportsman, with eight Super League sides in the mix. The Warriors – as ball number 7 in the draw – were pulled out of the hat to play against York City Knights Ladies.
York progressed in the competition after seeing off Wakefield Trinity with a late comeback to win 16-10, with Wigan entering the competition at the Quarter Final stage. The two sides have met four times in the Women’s Super League, with Wigan coming out on top on all four occasions including three wins to nil.
All four Quarter Final ties will take place on Sunday 9th May with details of venues and kick-off times to be announced.
