Women’s trial day postponed

Wigan Warriors Women have announced the postponement of their team trial day session – scheduled for 10th January 2021.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and Greater Manchester being placed in Tier 4, the trial day has been postponed.

A rearranged date will be announced once restrictions allow, as the Warriors Women look to recruit for the upcoming 2021 season.

Women’s head coach, Kris Ratcliffe, said: “Unfortunately due to the ongoing circumstances outside of our control, we have had to postpone the forthcoming trials.

“We are hugely disappointed as we were really looking forward to this with some good numbers and notable quality amongst the names who had registered.

“We will certainly be rescheduling as soon as restrictions allow.”
