Introducing IQONIQ

Wigan Warriors recently announced a ground-breaking partnership with innovative new sports fan engagement platform IQONIQ.

The multi-year partnership will see the Warriors become the latest in a series of high-profile teams and leagues to sign up to the IQONIQ platform, marking the brand’s first relationship with a rugby club globally. Other premium rights-holders confirmed to join IQONIQ to date include La Liga, McLaren Racing, AS Roma, AS Monaco and Crystal Palace. 

As part of the multi-year partnership, IQONIQ’s logo will appear on the front of the first team squad and Women’s team playing shirts.

What is IQONIQ?

IQONIQ is a new fan engagement platform made for sports and entertainment fans. 

The platform will offer supporters a more personal fan experience, with tailored content, unique opportunities to interact with their heroes, and fun games to play alongside fellow fans. 

IQONIQ offers fans a more rewarding fan experience, with loyalty programmes and membership schemes giving back to the most dedicated fans, as well as special offers for merchandise and tickets, and the opportunity to win exclusive fan experiences.

IQONIQ is expected to officially launch in the first quarter of 2021, therefore coinciding with the start of the 2021 Betfred Super League season. 

How will IQONIQ be working with Wigan Warriors?

The IQONIQ partnership comes at a perfect time for Wigan Warriors, where the Club is increasingly pursuing a digitalisation strategy. The partnership will help the Warriors bring fans even closer to the Club, connect with a younger audience, improve our digital offering and pursue new commercial opportunities. 

Users of the IQONIQ platform will be able to benefit from exclusive content, priority news and unrivalled access to the playing squad. There will also be plenty of prizes and competitions too.
