On this day in 2015 Wigan Warriors produced a huge 12-48 victory over Hull FC at the KCOM Stadium in the final game of the regular Super League season.

After just six minutes, Shaun Wane’s side took an early lead as Joe Burgess went over for his 21st try of the season. 

John Bateman doubled the Wigan lead ten minutes later, before the home side pulled one back through Richard Whiting. 

The Warriors quickly responded as Sam Powell and George Williams both went over before half time to extend the lead.

After the break, Bowen crossed the whitewash for his first of the evening, with Sean O’Loughlin also adding his name to the scoresheet just before the hour mark. 

Joe Westerman pulled back another consolation back for Hull, before Bowen grabbed his second. 

The game was rounded off nicely for the Warriors, as Dom Crosby got the final try of the evening with two minutes left on the clock.
