Music Monday: Flechettes

  • Each week Wigan Warriors will welcome a local act to perform on the Club’s social media as part of our new initiative, Music Monday.
  • The set will be available to watch on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook every Monday from 7pm.
  • Local band, Flechettes, is our third act!

Each week – as part of Music Monday – Wigan Warriors will welcome a local act to perform on the Club’s social media and local band Flechettes are next up.

Throughout lockdown, isolation shows have become a staple feature for artists to continue to perform and interact with people across the world.

Jack Heaton, the front man of local four-piece, Flechettes, is our next act – our third for the new initiative, which began at the start of June.

The singer’s set will be available from 7pm on Monday 22nd June on the Club’s Instagram, Twitter and Facebook channels.

Let’s take a closer look at the local four-piece and preview exactly what to expect...

Flechettes are comprised of Jack Heaton, Johnny Raper, Nicholas Kitts and William Watts.

Since forming in 2019, they have played shows in Wigan, Manchester and Sheffield.

The four-piece released their debut single, ‘In the Mood’, back in January, which also features ‘B-side Apple of My Eager Eye’.

When safe to do so, they also have plans to record their second release.

On Monday evening, Heaton will be performing their first single, as well as cover of Oasis’ ‘Champagne Supernova’.
