Wigan Warriors have surpassed 5,000 followers on the Club’s official channel on TikTok.
Just under 12 weeks ago – at the end of March – the Club created an account on the video-sharing social networking service and have since uploaded 57 videos – varying from short dance, lip-sync, comedy and talent.
Across all of its videos, the verified channel has received over 57,000 likes across all videos, with one video – taken from 2018 when the Warriors played in Sydney, Australia – attracting over 810,000 views.
TikTok allows users to create short music and lip-sync videos of 3 to 15 seconds and short looping videos of 3 to 60 seconds.
In what has been a difficult time for everyone in the last few months, the Club created the channel in an attempt to attract a new and young audience, as well as engaging and entertaining its current online fanbase.
