On this day (18th May 2013) the Warriors enjoyed a day in the capital, as they thrashed London Broncos 6-64 at Twickenham Stoop. 

Three Wigan players – Pat Richards, Sam Tomkins and Josh Charnley – all went over for hat-tricks in the huge victory. 

Josh Charnley was amongst three Wigan players who scored hat-tricks on this day in 2013.

Within the opening 20 minutes, Charnley and Tomkins had claimed their first tries of the afternoon , whilst Richards had scored a double. 

It was the Australian winger who bagged his hat-trick first, completing it in the 23rd-minute. 

Tomkins went over for his second on the half hour mark, before George Williams rounded off the opening 40 minutes with a try.

Wigan continued where they left off in the second, with Ben Flower being the next player to add his name to the scoresheet. 

The home side were able to pull one back, as Luke Dorn went over for the Broncos only try of the afternoon. 

Tomkins and Charnley both then completed their hat-tricks, before Sam Powell rounded off the afternoon with a touchdown.
