This week on Wigan TV, in partnership with Principal Partner Prestone, we have a selection of classic matches from the Magic Weekend.

For the next five days, we have picked out ten games from the past 13 years that feature Wigan at the annual Super League festival two-day event.

Wigan TV subscribers will be able to watch highlights and the full games with two uploads guaranteed each day on the homepage.

We kick the Magic Weekend classics off with the 2009 and 2010 games against St Helens and Huddersfield Giants at Murrayfield, Edinburgh.

Also this week on Friday at 5pm, as part of our Warriors Rewind series, we will be ‘live’ streaming one of the classic games from the Magic Weekend down the years.

Warriors will get the chance to vote on a poll on Thursday to decide which game will be shown. There will be four options – matching the four different teams Wigan have played over the 13 years the event has taken place (St Helens, Huddersfield Giants, Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves).

Presented by Principal Partner Prestone, we will then ‘live’ stream the full 80 minutes of the game which has received the majority of votes on Facebook the next day.

In addition to this week’s rewind feature, watch hour upon hour of classic match action spanning back through several decades on Wigan TV! In the past few weeks during these difficult times, we have uploaded hours of matches from the 1995-96, 2006, 2007 and 1990-91 seasons, as well as The Lammy Years!

Whether it’s the chance to re-live the days of Shaun Edwards, Andy Farrell, Martin Offiah and Jason Robinson, or just the chance to smile at some of the amazing scores we’ve seen already this season from the likes of Bevan French, Jackson Hastings and Liam Marshall, it’s all there when you want it on Wigan TV.
