The Lammy Years

  • This week on Wigan TV we turn our attention to The Lammy Years.
  • Watch at least a game a day this week on Wigan TV featuring our Head Coach Adrian Lam.
  • Jump into the Wigan TV match archive for more classic matches.

This week on Wigan TV, in partnership with Principal Partner Prestone, we have a selection of classic matches from Head Coach Adrian Lam’s four seasons with the Warriors.

For the next five days, we have picked out a selection of games that feature around the former half-back during his time at the Club between 2001 and 2004.

Wigan TV subscribers will be able to watch highlights and the full games with one upload guaranteed each day on the homepage.

We kick the Lam classics off with his first ever Super League game for the Club, which came against Warrington in Round 1 on 2nd March 2001.

Also this week on Friday at 6pm, as part of our Warriors Rewind series, we will be ‘live’ streaming one of the classic games where Lam was instrumental for Wigan – the 2002 Challenge Cup Final, which came against St Helens at Murrayfield, Edinburgh on 27th April. Presented by Principal Partner Prestone, we will ‘live’ stream the full 80 minutes on our Official Facebook Page.

Whether it’s the chance to re-live the days of Shaun Edwards, Andy Farrell, Martin Offiah and Jason Robinson, or just the chance to smile at some of the amazing scores we’ve seen already this season from the likes of Bevan French, Jackson Hastings and Liam Marshall, it’s all there when you want it on Wigan TV.
