Highlights of Wigan’s classic Challenge Cup Final win over Hull FC in 1985 will be shown on BBC One today.

Part of a 75-minute programme hosted by Mark Chapman, there will be four other memorable Challenge Cup Final matches from down the years available to watch from 1:15pm.

The 1984-85 Challenge Cup was the 84th year of the competition and it was contested between Wigan and Hull FC in front of 99,801 fans at Wembley.

Wigan won the game 28-24 with tries from John Ferguson (2), Brett Kenny, Henderson Gill and Shaun Edwards, and Kenny won the prestigious Man of the Match Lance Todd Trophy.

Brett Kenny inspired Wigan to victory.
