The game between Wigan Warriors Reserves and Wakefield Trinity Reserves, scheduled for Friday 4 May, has been cancelled.
The fixture was set to take place at the DW Stadium ahead of the First Team game however Wakefield have had to withdraw.
Warriors Head of Community and Marketing, Martin McLoughlin, said: “We’re bitterly disappointed that Wakefield have had to withdraw from tomorrow’s Reserves game.
“I know lots of people were looking forward to watching the Reserves in action at the DW Stadium and we have looked at making alternative arrangements but there simply isn’t enough time to find new opposition.
“It still promises to be a great night at the DW with over 200 children taking part in half-time games and some mystery guests joining us to celebrate Star Wars day!”
Turnstiles will now open at the DW Stadium at the usual time of 6:30pm tomorrow evening with Wigan v Salford kicking-off at 8:00pm.
