Claire Taylor appointed Health & Wellbeing Manager

Both on and off the pitch things are looking healthy. As part of the Club’s 2018 – 2021 strategy we are delighted to announce the appointment of Claire Taylor as Health & Wellbeing Manager.
The Health and Wellbeing Manager is a new and exciting position that will see closer working relationship with our fans, community and partners and begin the journey of creating a stronger, healthier and more resilient community. The appointment is one of many steps in demonstrating the Club’s commitment to achieving excellence both on and off the field.
Mike Wearden, Community Foundation Manager said: “We’re delighted for Claire to have joined the team at such an exciting time for both the club and community. Claire’s experience within the industry and enthusiasm towards improving the Health and Wellbeing of others will make a real difference to many people’s lives within the local community”.
Claire has worked in the health and fitness industry for the past eight years; as a personal trainer, sports massage therapist and yoga teacher. Claire has an holistic approach to health and believes that small positive changes to lifestyle are most effective in sustaining healthy habits.
Claire said: “In my new role as Community Health and Wellbeing Manager, I hope to reach out to all groups in the community to engage them in activities to improve their physical health, mental health and general wellbeing. I am looking forward to working in the community and bringing people together to provide a strong network of support.”
