Wigan’s Romain Navarrete has been named in the France squad for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.
The 23-year-old prop featured nine times for the Warriors this season before re-joining former club Catalans Dragons where he played a further four games.
Navarrete is joined in the squad by seven Catalans players with St Helens’ Theo Fages captaining the side.
Toulouse Olympique boast five players from the team that beat Sheffield Eagles in the Championship Shield final last weekend.
Prop Remy Casty (broken hand) and centre Vincent Duport (knee) were unavailable for selection by France coach Aurélien Cologni.
France will play a warm-up Test against Jamaica in Perpignan on 13 October before departing for Australia to prepare for their opening World Cup clash with Lebanon on Canberra on 29 October.
Les Chanticleers also play Australia in Canberra on 3 November and England in Perth on 12 November.
