Wigan Warriors commemorative shirt now available
Commemorative shirt to celebrate 1987 World Club Challenge win over Manly
- Limited edition shirt to be worn during final home fixture of the year against Castleford on Sunday 17th September
The new limited edition commemorative shirt is now available to purchase from Warriors World.
The club launched the shirt on Monday with the Warriors set to wear it for the final home fixture of the year against Castleford on Sunday.
The kit celebrates 30 years since the famous 1987 World Club Challenge victory against Manly. A re-creation of the kit Wigan wore that night, the new design is unique as the Warriors 2017 kit sponsors are included but in a tonal form - therefore becoming part of the design.
Wigan are the only team in Rugby League to be crowned World Club Champions four times and the shirts are emblazoned with four stars to recognise each of the Club’s world titles.
A limited quantity of 1000 playing-weight shirts have been produced by technical partners Erreà for fans to purchase. Each shirt is individually numbered and delivered in a limited edition presentation case.
All sponsors logos on shirts available from Warriors World will be tonal including the Super League logos.
The kit has proven very popular with fans and will be worn by the Cherry and Whites as part of Celebrate Wigan Day on Sunday 17th September.
The shirts retail at £60 for Adults and Ladies, £40 for Juniors and are available in sizes from YXS - 9XL and are available to purchase in store now and online HERE.
