- Warriors face Castleford Tigers on Sunday 17th September
Amateur clubs and groups are invited to take part in a Celebrate Wigan Day pitch parade at half-time during the Warriors clash with Castleford Tigers on Sunday 17th September.
At the Warriors’ last home fixture of the 2017 season, the Club will celebrate it’s past and future as well as the town of Wigan itself.
Groups from Wigan are invited to take part and to take advantage of this wonderful, fun experience. Clubs are encouraged to be along banners, flags, wear their club shirts with pride as they parade their amateur club colours in front of a huge crowd.
All clubs will stop and pose for a club photo with a couple of Warriors players as part of this wonderful Amateur Club experience.
Community Marketing and Group Sales Executive Amanda Wilkinson commented:
“With a huge day of rugby and family entertainment in store, we are looking forward to the Wigan amateur clubs showing up in numbers to represent their clubs in our half time parade.
“As a Club we love giving young fans the opportunity to create long lasting memories and who better to share this with than our team mates.
“We expect this this experience to be very popular so I would encourage any interested groups to get in touch as soon as possible to ensure they can take advantage of this opportunity.”
Coaches and administrators of teams interested in the half-time pitch parade are asked to contact Amanda Wilkinson by emailing email@example.com or calling 07891 882048. Please note places are limited and will be given out on a first come basis.
