Final Summer Camp

Final Summer Camp

  • Last 2017 Central Park Summer Camp next week

  • Sam Tomkins, Thomas Leuluai and Joe Burgess confirmed to attend

  • Trio to join junior Warriors at Central Park on final two-day camp, book now to avoid disappointment

After two fantastic camps so far the Wigan Warriors Community Foundation will host the final Central Park camp of the summer next week.

First teamers and international superstars Sam Tomkins, Thomas Leuluai and Joe Burgess will head down to meet with junior fans and help lead a coaching session. The two-day camp takes place at Central Park on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th August.

A regular at full-back for England, Sam Tomkins has played 27 games for his country scoring 20 tries. Joe Burgess has also made his England debut and has three caps to date whilst Tommy Leuluai has 38 international appearances to his name for New Zealand.

Community Marketing and Group Sales Executive, Amanda Wilkinson, said: “We’ve had a fantastic summer of activity both here at Central Park and at camps across the North West and Cumbria and what better way to round off the action at Central Park than with three international players coming down.

“It’s always great for our young fans to interact and spend time with the players and who better to pass on tips than three players who have all played on the international stage.”

Places cost £39 per child with the camp open from 4 to 12-year-olds.

Wigan Warriors Community Foundation Player Camps are open to youngsters aged 4 through to 12.
