  • Warriors unveil new partnership with fans set to benefit from exclusive offers, competitions and energy saving tips

  • Partnership will also support various community and sustainability initiatives

Wigan Warriors have today unveiled leading energy company npower as a major partner.

As one of Britain’s largest energy companies, and part of the Innogy SE group, npower serves around 5 million residential and business accounts with electricity and gas.

The new partnership means that fans will benefit from a series of exclusive customer offers, competitions and energy saving tips for their home and family. npower will also launch an exclusive tariff for Wigan fans in early 2018.

The partnership will look to support a range of community and sustainability initiatives which are important to fans, both within the local Wigan area and beyond.

Executive Director Kris Radlinski said,

“This is a significant partnership for the Wigan Rugby League Club, as well as for the game of Rugby League. It is also a clear statement of the commercial direction that the Club is going in.

“What is really pleasing from my perspective is that npower share our ambition and really understand the passion we have for our Club.

“This is a very exciting period for the Club. Over the last six months particularly, we have laid the foundations to meet our plans with more announcements to come.”

The npower logo will feature on the shoulders of the Wigan jersey for the remainder of the 2017 season, making its debut at Wembley this week and throughout 2018.
